To provide workers/labourers of Rajasthan residential houses on low rent Industrial Housing Scheme was started in eight cities of Rajasthan namely at :

Jaipur

Kota

Udaipur

Bhilwara

Pali

Sriganganagar

Sawai Madhopur

Beawar.

Later it was decided by the government to give ownership of the houses to workers living in them, which has been done so to a great extent.
